About

Welcome to Terminal Pursuit — a community for hunters and believers who understand that the greatest pursuits demand everything we have.

On one level, "Terminal Pursuit" speaks directly to the heart of the hunter. It’s that final, focused chase — the determined pursuit of the animal at the end of the hunt. It’s the culmination of early mornings, long stalks, patience, skill, and respect for the game we pursue. For many of us, hunting isn’t just a hobby; it’s a deeply meaningful tradition that connects us to the land, to provision, and to the raw realities of life and death in God’s creation.

But the name carries an even greater, ultimate meaning.

"Terminal" also points to the final and most important pursuit of our lives: dying to self so we can truly pursue God with all our heart. Jesus invites us into this daily surrender: “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it” (Matthew 16:24-25).

Just as a hunter must set aside comfort, ego, and distractions to make the successful harvest, the follower of Christ learns to lay down selfish ambitions, old habits, and self-centered living so Christ can live fully through us. The pursuit never ends — but when we die to self, we discover real life, freedom, and intimacy with our Creator.

In this group, we celebrate both sides: the outdoorsman’s passion for putting food on the table and the believer’s passion for following Jesus. We challenge and support one another to hunt with skill, respect and reverence for God’s creation while relentlessly pursuing Christ through complete surrender.

This is the heart of Terminal Pursuit.
